Guys the intro to this episode made me spit coffee all over my screen. Classic!
  • Now that has to be one of the funniest intros ever! Good beers to start out 2010 too :)
  • Just got back from the Bahamas and watched the episode. Big difference when Kaeo is back :p His new intro is mean. Double Bastard is one of my favs and I have some 06, 07, and 08 in my closet. Can't wait to see what else is coming in 2010 and thanks for the shout out.

Although I am not a “Native,” I do live in Federal Way; the BBQ joint across from 99 Bottles is Jimmy Mac's Roadhouse. The food isn’t bad but the prefab country music wears on me. You know, Federal Way has a couple of Local style restaurants; Saimin Says, and the Pac Island Grill.
Right after Christmas the long suffering wife, one of our kids and I visited Hawaii. We were on Kauai and the Big Island. On the Big Island we made our pilgrimage to the Kona Brewing…eh brewery. They had an English style bitter on nitro, it was very nice.
Maybe the next time you are going to be in the Seattle area, you could post your plans on cyberspace and we could knock one of two back.
Anyway 2 things I really like are good beer and anything related to Hawaii, so your show has it covered.

  • Jimmy Mac's roadhouse! I make it a point to eat there when I head over to 99 bottles. The yeast rolls with the honey butter = epic! I will def give out the info when I make my return trip to Washington. Should be soon. I'll make sure to bring up some coconut porter for you all :)
  • Love the opening, good shit. Union Jake is a lot better on draft and freakin great on cask if you can find it. Love the Double Bastard. I was shocked when back home that there is no Stone...sucks! They need to get their shit over there asap! Awesome show.
  • I def wish they had more Union Jack IPA down here. That would be my everyday IPA. Thanks for watching the show, if you have any beers you think we should try, let us know bro!

Damn that was a LOOOONG vacation huh? Glad you guys are finally back!! The new open is SICK!!! Way to go Ka`eo!! Look forward to MORE episodes and LESS vacations. LOL! Thanks for opening my eyes and taste buds to the world of BEER.

I bought a Chimay blue label for New Year's eve and it was MEAN!! $11 a bottle is a little steep so I'll only get it for special occasions. Tried a couple of Rogues over the holidays too. Irish and the Hazelnut were SHE-GOs.

Anyways, keep up the good work!! IMUA!
  • Chimay Blue Label is a tasty bitch! It is a little steep but its good for those special occasions most def. What type of beers do you like? we can probably come up with a few suggestions for you. I would suggest you try Maui Brewing & some Hawaii Nui Brewing. Good stuff. Thanks for watching!
  • Awwwwwww yeah! Back in the garage! You can almost feel the west side vibe. Great opening, the new sequence is EPIC. I'll definitely try and track these two down when I'm on the mainland soon. Awesome cameo by the Beer Tap guys.

This episode rates a Double Bastard punch in the mouth MEAN!
