Shawn and Mike began their work on The Beer Genome Project in the fall of 2008. They started out documenting their journey into craft beer with the podcast as a means for friends and family to follow along. This site became a source for additional content, extended reviews, videos, craft beer events, and updates from local breweries. They strive to create an educated-yet-casual-dialog about beer, where people can join an online, organic movement to share the knowledge they’ve gained over the years with other beer aficionados, or people who just want to know a little more about beer.
