Episode 10. Wow, we made 10 episodes? Who would of thought. In this episode we take a shot at barley wines. Sierra Nevada’s Bigfoot Barley Wine Ale and the Mad River Brewing Co’s John Barleycorn Barley Wine Ale. We also take a look at a very drunk Russel Kealoha. oh man...if you think this is bizzare then you should watch our later eps like this one: http://www.twobeerqueers.com/2010/03/31/833/
this was the first and last time i had the barleycorn -- but with it back on the shelves i feel it's about time to revisit.

We just watched and drank-along with this one. Very nice. The chocolaty malt goodness of John Barleycorn was fantastic. But we are both half hammered, and we didn't even have side beers. Yet.
Wow, that was one impressive pull from the Sierra Nevada out of Bully. I personally like the 2008 Bigfoot than the 2009 you are tasting. I've never tried the John Barleycorn, but I think I'm going to have to go out and try a bottle now.
Check out Stone Old Guardian if you want a Barleywine that will knock your socks off.
Great Episode!
So, does the dart board in the background explain what all the fuckin trophies are for? twobeerqueer mystery #7 solved...
"dude, are you at that point?" lol
thank you for the kind words Kevin. It's people like yourself that keep us going on a regular basis. And put your worries aside, we are working on getting that Sam Adams beer...and yes tanking it...
I think you guys will be getting a movie offer soon. This is better than Wayne's World. Funny spontainiously. I want to see you guys review some of that 24% beer from Sam Adams. Kevin Mccready
You guys crack me up! You remind me of Cheech and Chong back in the early 1970s. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
